هذه الأرض البعيدة..
احتواها بعينه.بريشت، طوحت خصلة من شعرها الفاحم السواد فوق قلة رأسها وأفرجت عن ابتسامة باهتة شجعته أن يمد حبال الكلام وسألها:
-هو نمرة كام بيروح فين؟
ترمقه ثم تنخرط فى ضحك من القلب لأنه باغتها بالسؤال وظلت تضحك وتضع كفها على فمها تحجب أسنانها البارزة عن شفتيها، بادلها الضحك. ظلت النظرات متنقلة ما بين الأثنين، سواء لبعضهما البعض، أو لعرض الشارع. فرملة الحافلة كانت قوية. ارتطم رأسها بالحاجز الحديدى. صار وجهها مثل عنقود من العنب الذى انفرط، كل شئ فى وجهها انفرط. خيط من الدم سال من جبهتها، لم يعد فى مقدروه أن يترك جارته فى الحافلة العامة بلا مساعدة. أسرع بمناولتها منديلاً من الورق. لاحظ أنها لا تهتم سوى بالبحث بالأصابع فى أرض الحافلة، لاحظ أن عيناً خظراء كالبرسيم وأخرى سوداء الننى، تعجب من هذا الأمر، لاحظ أن يمناها لا تتحرك. بل أصابع بلا حراك داخل قفاز أسود، لاحظ أنها حينما نهضت فإنها اعتمدت على ساق صناعية، أجفل، قرر أن يظل معها حتى تكمل مشوارها. سألها:
-إلى أين أنت ذاهبة؟
أجابت وهى لم تزل تبحث عن العدسة الخضراء:
-إلى الأرض البعيدة -المدن البعيدة فى آخر هذا الخط..
