على كتاب "أحمد بن على بن مسعود" (مراح الأرواح فى علم الصرف) صنف المولى شمس الدين أحمد المعروف بـ "بديكنقوز" شرحه، وهو ما يتضمنه متن هذا الكتاب وصله، وقد جاء فى سبعة أبواب سبقها خطته الكتاب، ثم كان أولها فى بيان بناء الصحيح وبيان أمثلة الماضى، وتدخل المضمرات فى الماضى وأخواته، كذلك فى المستقبل والأمر والنهى واسم الفاعل وأسم المفعول، وفى اسمى الزمان والمكان واسم الآلة أما الباب الثانى فقد جاء فى المضاعف ثم الثالث فقى المهوز، والرابع فى المعتل، والخامس فى الأجوف، والسادس فى الناقص وأخيراً الباب السابع فى اللفيف. ولكن الكتاب لا ينتهى بانتهاء ما فى متنه مما صنفه "ديكتفوز" وإنما هناك أيضا ما نجده فى هامش الكتاب مما صنفة شرح ذات الكتاب مع أخذه فى الاعتبار شرح ما غمض فن شرح " ديكنقوز"
