بين يديك كتاب "الصارم المسلول على شاتم الرسول" لشيخ الإسلام أحمد بن عبد الحليم بن عبد السلام بن تيمية الحراني، وهو كتاب قيم، فريد في بابه وموضوعه، ألفه دفاعاً عن عقيدة الأمة في نبيها ورسولها صلى الله عليه وسلم، وبين فيه حكم الله ورسوله فيمن شتم الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم أو تنقصه أو ازدراه -من مسلم أو كافر- بأسلوب رائع، وحجج دامغة، واستدلالات باهرة من الكتاب والسنة والإجماع والقياس.
وقد رتبه على أربع مسائل: المسألة الأولى: في أن الساب يقتل، سواء كان مسلماً أو كافراً. المسألة الثانية: في أنه يتعين قتله وإن كان ذمياً، فلا يجوز المن عليه، ولا مفاداته. المسألة الثالثة: في حكمه إذا تاب. المسألة الرابعة: في بيان السب، وما ليس بسب، والفرق بينه وبين الكفر.
ولأهمية هذا الكتاب وعظم نفعه اعتنى "محمد بن رياض الأحمد" في خدمته، فضبط نصه وخرج أحاديثه وعلق عليه.
