في البداية كانت الآلام المبرحة ، آلام لأول مرة يشعر بها أو يتخيل أنها موجودة،
كان يشعر أن الأطراف الحسية الخاصة بنقل الألم تصرخ بفزع، كأن عملاقًا قرر أن
يدق جسده بمطرقة حديدية ضخمة، الألم يجتاح جسده، عظامه تأن بقوة و رأسه يكاد ينفجر،
يجري الألم في عروقه مجري الدماء و ينبض قلبه بالآهات، يصرخ و لا أحد يبالي، يبكي و لا أحد يهتم،
صرخاته كانت تملأ المكان بينما الطبيبين منهمكين في الكتابة وهما يراقبان جسده الذي يتلوى ألمًا،
كان يصرخ و يبتهل لربه أن ينقذه، الألم يكاد يصيبه بجنون تام، الآهات تدوي بلا حساب و الحياة تزوي في عينيه.
