- مواليد حلب 1925 - حاصل على إجازة بالآداب قسم /الجغرافية/ من الجامعة السورية عام /1954م/ .
- حاصل على دبلوم في التربية والتعليم من الجامعة السورية عام /1955م/.
- عين مدرساً في ثانويات مدينة حلب، ثم مديراً لأكبر ثلاث ثانويات فيها على التوالي لمدة /12 عاماً/ .
- عين موجهاً اختصاصياً لمادة الجغرافية للإشراف على المحافظات الثلاث التالية ( حلب – إدلب – الرقة ) في شمال سوريا.
- ظل في عمله هذا لمدة /14/ عاماً، حيث أحيل بعدها إلى التقاعد منذ عام عام /1985م/.
· الأعمال الأخرى التي أنيطت به: 1- تم انتخابه كأول نقيب للمعلمين في سوريا عام /1960/ ولمدة أربع سنوات.
2- عين مستشاراً لمجلس تأديب موظفي الدولة بالإضافة إلى وظيفته الأساسية كموجه اختصاصي للجغرافية مدة /13/ عاماً وكانت قد أنيطت بسؤوليته هذه /7/ محافظات غرب وشمال وشمال شرق سورية.
3- شارك في الوفد السوري الذي شارك في أعمال (المؤتمر الثقافي العربي الثالث) لجامعة الدول العربية في بغداد والذي خصص لدراسة شؤون مواد الاجتماعيات (الجغرافية والتاريخ والتربية الوطنية)، وذلك في عام /1958م/.
4- اشترك في تأليف كتاب الوطن العربي الذي اقترح وضعه رئيس الجمهورية العربية السورية عام /1967م/.
5- دعي من قبل وزارة التربية للمشاركة في (مؤتمر تطوير التعليم ما قبل الجامعي) الذي عقد في كلية الهندسة في دمشق عام 1974م.
توفى عام 2004م.
