أنا تلك التي زالت غشاوة ناظرِها؛ فرأت الجنةَ تتجسدُ فوق أرض قريتها الصغيرة.. نعم .. أنا التي رسمتْ بيوتًا ملونة وسط السراب, وافترشتْ دربها حريرًا ناعمًا, ونثرتْ المِلحَ فوق جُرحها كي يلتئم, وتشبثتْ بحلمٍ صغيــــــــر حتى كان, وعزفتْ عن رفاهية بلاد العم سام؛ لِتنعم بحديث الجد الشجي ــ بجوار "الراكية"ـــ عن الحُور, والأرضينَ السبع, وعاشقات الظلام!!! لقد رحل جدي الحكيم مؤخرًا .. ذلكَ الكهل؛ ذو الكفّ العريضة .. تلكَ الكفُّ التي صفعتني يومًا؛ لأني اطَّلعتُ على سره الخفي من دون قصد!!! تبًّا لذاك الظمأ اللعين الذي أيقظني؛ فرأيتُ مالم يكن بالحسبـان!!! أجلْ.. لقد رحل؛ ولم يعرف بِأن اختيار صاحبته؛ قد وقع عليَّ أنا وحدي من دون العائلة الكبيرة بالدار الفسيحة.. تُرى.. كيف سأخبركَ الآنَ ياجدِّي؛ بِـأني قد صرتُ خليفتكَ, وامتدادكَ, ومختارةُ الديَـاجير؟!!!!! "
