دنيس ليفرتوف (1923-1997): كتبت الشاعرة، المترجمة، الناشطة السياسية، دنيس ليفرتوف عام 1960 معرفة بنفسها على النحو الآتي: "كان أبي بول رجلاً أكايديمياً... أما أمي بياتريس فأنا مدينة لها، بين أشياء كثيرة، بحبي للطبيعة وقدرتي على القراءة بصوت عال. بما أنني لم أذهب إلى المدرسة أبداً فقد توفر لي الوقت والعزلة لكي أبدأ بكتابة الشعر في سن مبكرة جدً". عام 1957 أصدرت ليفرتوف مجموعتها الشعرية الثانية "الآن وهنا" التي دفعت ركسروث إلى أن يعتبرها "من دون مقارنة أفضل شعراء الشعر الطليعي الجديدة.
