جلست وجلست هي: لم تمهلني فرصة كي أفتح المشكلة الكامنة في علة سقوطها. لم تسمح لي أن أبرر كيف فكرت أو تفكر في نتائج حماقتها العادية التي ضخمتها فصارت تؤثر علي وجودها وتختصر لها المسافة بين الموت والحياة, خلعت ثوبها الخارجي فرأيت ما تحت الرداء المزركش بالأماني الرخيصة والأغاني الهابطة, أول مرة منذ خلقت أري جسد أنثي حقيقية أدميه, عرضت علي جروح وكدمات, الراجح في تقديري ضربها أخوتها حين علموا بأنها أهدرت غشاء الوهم القديم أو, شرف الأدعياء السذج, خطيبها تنصل من وعده بالزواج وصب عليها وعلي الأخلاق جام غضبه كان الحياة الزوجية في لذة الجسد وفض البكارة, لم يكن وحده يعتقد وحده أن الشرف هو البكارة فهذا أيضاً أعتقاد معظم قاطني النهر من المنبع إلي المصب من بحر دار في مرتفعات الحبشة إلي الإسكندرية علي ساحل المتوسط.
