ورغم كل التطورات التي طرأت علي أشكال وانواع سندات النقل فقد بقيت لسند الشحن الاهمية الحيوية البالغة لعظم الوظائف التي يقوم بها, ولاحتدام الجدل دائما حول منطقة هامة نعني بها نظافة سند الشحن من عدمه, حيث تتأثر مصالح وعلاقات أطراف كثيرة بقدر الوضوح والموضوعية والدقة في تقدير مدي نظافة اسند من عدمه, ومدي عمومية وموضوعية وقانونية المعايير التي يتم الإستناد إليها في هذا الشأن- اي تقديراً وتقرير ما إذا كان السند نظيفا من عدمه.
