إيمان الإنسان بالله، هو في وعيه بأن وجوه على هذه الأرض له هدف، وأن كل ما يقوم به على هذه الأرض له اثر على حياته الروحية والمعنوية والأخروية.
- إن الدين كيان حي، يتفاعل مع الواقع، ويحتاج إلى الإنسان.. يحتاج إلى إنسان يقرأه ويفهمه ويتفاعل معه، كما يتفاعل مع ما هو قائم على أرضه.
- لا خير في إنسان، اتخذ الدين وسيلة شكلية حرفية، ولم تتكون عنده القدرة التي تمكّنه من الإصلاح ومن الصلاح.
- نريد مجتمعاً يحترم العقل.. يحترم الدين.. الدين الحق الذي يحترم الإنسان، ويحترم كل ما في الإنسان.
- حين تطبق قواعد العلم والمعرفة في شؤون الدنيا، فهذا نفسه جزء من الدين، بل إنه واجب عليك إذا كنت تؤمن بالله حقاً، أن تطبق على الأرض ما يتلاءم مع قوانينها.
- إتاحة الفرصة لتقديم المفاهيم المختلفة المستمدة من نفس المصادر الإلهية، أمر مطلوب، ويجب ألا يصاحبه وصف أي إنسان بأي صفة مشينة، ولا تكفير أحد، حتى وإن شَطّ البعض، فإن هذا الشطط، لا يكون تصويبه إلا بحرية أكثر، قادرة على أن تقارع الحجة بالحجة، والفهم بالفهم، والمنطق بالمنطق.
