بالرغم من مرور سنوات عديدة على انعقاد أول قمة عربية فإن موضوع القمة وقضايا الأمة لا يزال شديدة الأهمية حتى اليوم خصوصا فى أعقاب التراجع الثقافي والمعرفي الذي نعاني منه.
وكما عودنا د. رياض نعسان آغا الذي لم تشغله مناصبه المختلفة عن همه الفكري وحسه الأدبي ومستقبل أمتنا العربية, وإسهاما منه في عودة الوعي إلى عالمنا العربي ليصبح قادرا على تجاوز الهزيمة والمحنة ومناهضة روح الإستسلام ونشر ثقافة المقاومة وقدم في كتابه رؤية عميقة تجاه بعض القضايا المختلفة لأمتنا العربية ولا تغيب القضية الفلسطينية عن مشروعه الفكري والتي كانت وراء انعقاد أول قمة عربية في أنشاص عام 1946, وما شهده المشهد السياسي العربي بعد ذلك من أزمات وحروب أسهمت بشكل كبير في رسم خريطة النفوذ بمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وأدت إلى توحش المشروع " الصهيوني الأمريكي" للسيطرة على المنطقة.
لذا نحن فى حاجة ماسة إلى ثورة ثقافية عربية شاملة في السياسة والفلسفة والدين والاقتصاد والاجتماع والآداب وشتى علوم المعرفة, لكي تنهض أمتنا العربية بمسئوليتها للبحث عن رؤية جديدة للمستقبل وسط هذا الخضم من المتغيرات والمستجدات, وللخروج من نفق الأمة المظلم, لابد أن ندرك أن الحياة مشروع ولكي تتحقق ممكنات الإنسان وقدراته الكامنة ينبغي أن ينظر إلى حياته على أنها عمل فني عليه أن يبدعه إبداعا وينقحه ويراجعه.
"العقل الموجه هو الذي يوقظ نفسه ويكفيها ويضفي عليها الطبيعة التي يريدها ويجعل كل ما يحدث له يبدو على النحو الذي يريده".
ومن أجل ذلك لابد للمرء من التوقف كل يوم بعض حين, وإرجاء الاستجابات الاعتيادية والالتفاف اليقظ إلى النفس ووضع كل شئ على محك النقد والتمحيص, وكما قال سقراط: "إن حياة لا تخضع للنقد هى حياة لا تستحق أن تعاش"
