"بنو إسرائيل".. مصطلح مجرد ذكره تتداعى الأفكار والمعلومات بين تاريخية ودينية واجتماعية وسياسية.. وتتداخل إلى حد التضارب وتختلط.. وهو ما يجعل لهذا الكتاب قيمته حيث نضع أمامنا كم لا يستهان به من المعلومات عن تلك الكلمة "بني إسرائيل".
يفك رموزها ويبين مبهمها بدءًا من حديثه عن النبوة والأنبياء لتكون خير مقدمة تصل بها إلى بني إسرائيل وبدايتهم.
ما تميز الكتاب الذي بين يدينا هو أسلوب مؤلفه "محمد الغول" الحريص على الموضوعية والبسيط في ذات الوقت، فهو لا يتخذ من الكره والبغض منبعًا للمعلومات، وإنما يسوق إلينا المعلومات التاريخية والدينية بدءًا من سيدنا يعقوب وصولًا لسيدنا موسى عليهما السلام وما تلاه من أنبياء.
كذلك يتميز الكتاب بتفاصيل قصص أنبيائهم غير المشهورة أو المعتادة مما قد يصادف القارئ لأول مرة.
لا يعني ذلك أن الكتاب كتاب قصص دينية، وإنما هو كيان مجدول قوامه من التاريخ والدين ليصل ما يصل إليه من قضايا معاصرة تتصل بقضية "الأرض" وفلسطين وعلاقتهما ببني إسرائيل.
ولنتبين مكونات الكتاب أكثر نذكر بعض ما ورد به من فصول وهم: النبي والنبوة، درجات الأنبياء، في صفات الأنبياء ورسالاتهم، إلى المعجزات المادية، الله يضرب التيه على بني إسرائيل بما فعلوا، ما وهبه الله لبني إسرائيل، عقيدة بني إسرائيل، اليهود طائفتان، طبائع اليهود وسجاياهم، رسالة الإسلام وصفة حملتها، موقف اليهود من الدعوة والنبي محمد، آية الرجم في التوراة، تطهير الجزيرة من اليهود، شكل الإفساد الثاني، ما بعد سقوط دولة إسرائيل.
