العامري استطاع كسر الحاجز المُصمّت بين اللون الكامن في لوحته التشكيلية والسرد بطريقة جعلت اللون ينطق حبراً غزيراً ووضاء.
فالكلمات تبدو في العادة مكتومة داخل اللون الذي يرسمه العامري في لوحاته التشكيلية عبر تجربته الطويلة، بحيث يترك للرائي الواقف أمام لوحته مهمة التأويل وفك طلسم اللون، لكن المسألة اختلفت تماماً هنا وبدا العامري وكأنه يتدفق بليونة مائية عفوية وهو يسترد عينه الفنية التي يرى فيها من جديد رحلة طفولته في تشكيله الفني الأول بقريته "القليعات".
وعلى الرغم من أن العامري قد حاول أن يعمل على فكّ الإرتباط بين التشكيل واللغة عن طريق مجاميعه الشعرية التي لا تقل أهمية عن منجزه الفني بشكل عام، إلا أن العلاقة بين التشكيل والشعر ظلت عصيّة على الفصل عند العامري، بينما نلاحظ أن العامري امتلك ناصية السرد وفك الإرتباط مع التشكيل بقوة في سرديته "شجرة الليف".
وفي البدء يجب الإشارة إلى أنّ منطقة الأغوار الأردنية ظلت منطقة مهملة في خريطة الإبداع الأردني على الرغم من خصوصية المكان الغوري وخصوبة شخصياته وطبوغرافيته، وهذا ما ينتبه إليه العامري وهو يسترد طفولة كاملة الدسم فيبدأ بسرد المكان بعين لا تخلو من الصوفية في متابعة البيارات والقداسة التاريخية للجرح.
