لا تزال السيرة النبوية العطرة لسيدنا محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم أعظمَ السير وأجلَّها، فهو سيد الأولين والآخرين، ورحمة الله للعالمين، هَدَى إلى الرشاد، فاقتدى به العباد، وأحيا قلوبًا أماتها الشرك، وأضاء نفوسًا وأرواحًا طالما سبحت في ظلام الجهل، فاتخذه المؤمنون نبراسَ هدايةٍ، ومنارةَ رعايةٍ، فإن الله تعالى وملائكته يصلون عليه، ولا تمر دقيقة في ليل أو نهار إلا وهو مذكور محمود في قرآن يُتلى، أو صلاة تُصلَّى، أو ذِكر يَتقرَّب به المؤمنون. ومنذ أن بزغ نورُ الإسلام والمصطفى تؤلَّف حولَه الكتبُ في مشارق الأرض ومغاربها بالعشرات والمئات، ومنها كتاب «سفر السعادة» أو «الصراط المستقيم» لمؤلِّفه العلَّامة اللغوي المحدِّث المفسِّر الفقيه: مجد الدين الفيروزآبادي، الذي اجتهد فيه أيَّما اجتهادٍ، فجمع كل أدب وعادة وسيرةٍ كانت للنبي في أحوال الدين والدنيا، فهو واحدٌ من أعظم الكتب التي كُتبتْ حول الرسول وسيرته.
فحُبًّا في رسول الله، وإحياءً لسنته العطرة، ودفاعًا عنه، يسرنا أن نحوز شرفَ نشر هذا الكتاب، فهو سِفر عظيمٌ، ما أجمعَه وأصحَّه وأوعاه لهدْيِ النبي وما أليقَه للعمل لمريد السنة ولكل محبٍّ للرسول
