هذا الكتاب دراسة علمية تتناول الأحكام الفقهية المتعلقة بالأشراف أهل البيت النبوي، وقد صدّرها المؤلف بتعريف الآل لغةً وإصطلاحاً، وبيان فضلهم ومكانتهم، ثم قسم كتابه إلى أربعة فصول رئيسة، الأول: في أحكام آل البيت في الزكاة، أخذهم لما من غيرهم أو من بعضهم والعمالة عليها، والفصل الثاني: في أحكامهم المالية في غير الزكاة، كالصداقات والكفارات والأوقاف والنذور والغنائم والفيء، والفصل الثالث: في أحكامهم غير المالية، من الصلاة عليهم، وحقهم في الإمامتين الكبرى والصغرى، والكفاءة في النكاح، وألقابهم الخاصة، والإنتساب إليهم، والفصل الرابع: في أحكام الملحقين بالأشراف، كبني عبد المطلب، وأولاد الهاشميات، والموالي.
والكتاب في أصله رسالة جامعية أجيزت بدرجة الإمتياز.
