لقد شيد باييخو في قصائده الإنسانية ملحمة الألم اليومي للإنسان، فحق ما قيل في هذا الكتاب من أنه يمثل في الشعر ما مثلته التكعيبية في الرسم، وأن باييخو مثله مثل بيكاسو، عرف في حياته كيف يكون كلاسيكيا من أفضل الكلاسيكيين.
