Book Description
أدرج هذا الكتاب بعنوان علم الحياة الحيوانية (1) لطلاب السنة الأولى - علم الحياة - ضمن الخطة التدريسية الجديدة، ويشتمل على ثلاثة أجزاء هي: علم الخلية Cytology وعلم النسج Histology وعلم الوراثة Genetics.
وقد اشتمل الجزء الخاص بعلم الخلية على اثني عشرة فصلاً، تناول الفصل الأول منها الأجهزة والطرائق المستخدمة في دراسة الخلية، حتى يتسنّى للطالب معرفة الكيفية التي أدّت إلى تطور علم الخليّة، والنهج الذي اتبعه العلماء في هذا السياق.
وفي الفصل الثاني تمّت دراسة التركيب الكيميائي لخلية مع التعريف بالمفاهيم الرئيسة للمركّبات الكيميائية الحيوية، ودُرست في الفصل الثالث طبيعة السيتوبلاسما في الخلايا حقيقيّات النوى تبعاً للرؤية الحديثة لبنيتها وإعتماداً على التقانات المتطوّرة جداً.
وخصّص الفصل الرابع لدراسة بنية الغشاء البلاسمي ووظيفته، واشتملت الفصل من الخامس وحتّى الحادي عشر على دراسة التركيب الدقيق للعضيّات الخلويّة المختلفة ووظائفها، أمّا الفصل الثاني عشر فقد تمّ تخصيصه لدراسة النواة بإعتبارها أكبر العضيّات الخلويّة الغشائية وأهمّها على الإطلاق لكونها تعد المركز المسيطر في الخليّة والحاملة للمادّة الوراثيّة.
أمّا الجزء الثاني من هذا الكتاب فقد خصّص لدراسة النسج المختلفة نظراً لأهميتها في دراسة التركيب النسيجي لأعضاء وأجهزة أجسام الكائنات الحيّة من جهة، ومن أجل فهم أعمق لفيزيولوجيّة هذه الأجهزة التي يشكّل تضافر عملها أساس إستمرارية هذه الكائنات من جهة أخرى.
وتناولنا في الجزء الخاص بعلم الوراثة العديد من المواضيع التي تشكّل قاعدة مهمّة في فهم المندليّة وقوانين توريث الصّفات، والتعريف بالمادّة الوراثية ودورها في نقل المعلومات الوراثيّة من جيل لآخر عبر مادة الدنا DNA، وأهميّة هذه المادّة في حياة الكائنات وبخاصّةً حياة الإنسان، ودراسة تأثير العوامل البيئية في التراكيب الوراثية والأنماط الظاهريّة، إضافة لمواضيع أخرى.
