يسرني أن أقدم للقارئ الكريم هذا الكتاب عن ذيل وليم الصورى وهو ترجمة لتاريخ وليم الصوري للحروب الصليبية الذى قام بترجمته المؤرخ الكبير الأستاذ الدكتور حسن حبشى استاذ تاريخ العصور الوسطى بجامعة عين شمس ، والذي قام بترجمته كتاب وليم الشهير عن الحروب الصليبية والكتاب يتعرض لأحوال الصليبيين في الشرق وتسليم عكا واستيلاء صلاح الدين على بعض مدن الساحل الشامى وعسقلان ويتحدث عن الروح الإنسانية عند صلاح الدين ومظاهر الكراهية بين الأوربيين والبيزنطيين وصدى سقوط القدس فى أيدى المسلمين في الغرب وانتقال الصراع الإسلامي الصليبي إلى البحر وأحداث أرمينية والنزاع بين الإنجليز والفرنسيين في صقلية ومحاربة الصليبيين لقبرص ووقوع ريتشارد في الأسر. ويعتبر الكتاب وثيقة تاريخية مهمة عن تاريخ الحروب الصليبية.
