يحتوى هذا الكتاب على عدد كبير جدا من القصص القصيرة فهى ثلاثين قصة ولا داعي للعجب فالقصص قصيرة جدا ويبدو انها كلها قد كتبت من ذكريات ألمؤلفه فهى تكتب قصصا من حياتها الشخصية ويميز هذه القصص أسلوب ألكاتبه شديد الوضوح والسهولة فهى لا تزيد عليه الكثير من الخيال كما انها تبرع فى الوصف بأسلوب سلس بحيث يعيش القارئ بسهولة مشاعرها وتعرض عليه القصة تماما كما لو كانت تعرض على شاشه التليفزيون ومن الاسم الذى اختارته ألمؤلفه للمجموعة يبدو انها بالفعل تبحث عن ذاتها فى ذكرياتها.
