ولد بقرية برقة التابعة لمحافظة نابلس بفلسطين.
خرج من فلسطين وهو ابن ست عشرة سنة، إلى المدينة المنورة بالمملكة العربية السعودية، وأكمل دراسته الثانوية العامَة هناك، ثم أكمل الدراسة في الجامعة الإسلامية بالمدينة المنورة، وحصل على البكالوريوس من كلية الشريعة، ومكث فيها فترة من الزمن، ثم غادر إلى الكويت عام 1966م، واستكمل الأشقر رحلته العلمية بدراسة الماجستير في جامعة الأزهر، ثم حصل على الدكتوراه من كلية الشريعة بجامعة الأزهر عام 1980م، وكانت رسالته في "النيات ومقاصد المكلفين" في الفقه المقارن، وعمل مدرسًا في كلية الشريعة بجامعة الكويت.
بقي الشيخ بالكويت حتى عام 1990م، ثم خرج منها إلى المملكة الأردنية، فعيِن أستاذًا في كليَة الشريعة بالجامعة الأردنية.
وكان عميد كلية الشريعة بجامعة الزرقاء سابقا.
ثم تفرغ للبحث والكتابة، وأصدر عدداً جيداً من الكتب والأبحاث.
Book Description
إن الإيمان بالملائكة أصل من أصول الإعتقاد، لا يتم الإيمان إلا به، والملائكة عالم من عوالم الغيب التي امتدح الله تعالى المؤمنين بها، تصديقاً لخبر الله سبحانه وإخبار رسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم.
وقد بَسَطت النصوص من الكتاب والسنّة هذا الموضوع وبينت جوانبه، ومن يطالع هذه النصوص في هذا الجانب، يصبح الإيمان بالملائكة عنده واضحاً، وليس فكرةً غامضة، وهذا مما يعمق الإيمان ويرسخه؛ فإن المعرفة التفصيلية أقوى وأثبت من المعرفة الإجمالية.
وما أطالت النصوص التفصيل والتوضيح في هذا الموضوع إلا لأن العقل الإنساني لا يستطيع التوصل إلى ما يهمه معرفته عن الملائكة بنفسه، فحواس الإنسان أعجز من أن ترى الملائكة، وتسمع أحاديثهم، ولا شك أنّ هذا العجز في صالح الإنسان، فلو كان الإنسان يسمع ويرى كل ما يحيط به، لما أطاق الحياة.
في هذا الكتاب، تفصيل لما جاءت به النصوص في الإيمان بالملائكة، وسنتعرف عبر نصوص الكتاب والسنّة على صفاتهم وقدراتهم وعلاقتهم بالإنسان وبالمخلوقات الأخرى.
