تردد فى وقتنا الحاضر آراء بين المثقفين وعامة الناس حول التصوف والصوفية والمتصرفة وقد اكتنف التصوف بعض الغموض والإبهام مع انتشار بعض المذاهب المناهضة للتصوف وساعد على ذلك ما انتشر بين أرباب بعض الطرق الصوفية من خرافات وعادات ومظاهر وخاصة فى الموالد والاحتفالات الدينية.. ولقد شرفنى الله تعالى بتلقى الطريق على يد عظيم وعارف بالله كريم هو السيد / إبراهيم سلامة الراضى شيخ الطريقة الحامدية الشاذلية والذى انتقل إلى رحمة مولاه فى أواخر مايو عام 1976.. وقد ارسى قبل وفاته مبادئ الطريقة التى أسسها والده الكريم الشيخ سلامة ابن حسن الراضى. وفى عام 1962 رأى الشيخ رصى الله عنه ما شاب التصوف من عيوب علقت به لعدم وجود الفهم الكفاى لدى الناس عامة ولدى المتصوفة على وجه الخصوص.
