هذا كتاب في إفراد قراءة الإمام الكسائي من رواية أبي عمر الدوري من طريق ابن مقسم، جمع مؤلفه حروفه من كتاب "الغاية" في القراءات العشر واختيار أبي حاتم للإمام أبي بكر أحمد بن الحسن بن مهرام الأصبهاني (ت381هـ) بعد أن أسند قراءاته بها إلى ابن مهران، ومنه إلى الكاسائي، إلى رسول الله "صلى الله عليه وسلم" وقد دأب العلماء في القديم والحديث على التأليف في مفردات القراء تيسيراً على طالبي القراءات القرآنية ممن يرغبون في تحصيل قراءة أو رواية بعينها، وسوف أعقد في هذه المقدمة فصلاً خاصاً بالمؤلفات التي حوت قراءة واحدة أو رواية واحدة، مرتباً ذلك ترتيباً تاريخياً تبعاً لتاريخ وفاة مصنفيها، منتهياً بمؤلفات العلامة إبراهيم علي علي شحاتة السمنودي المصري، نفع الله بعلمه وممن أفرد قراءة الكسائي بالتأليف: الإمام أبو بكر أحمد بن موسى بن العباس ابن مجاهد البغدادي (ت 349هـ)، والإمام أبو عيسى بكار بن أحمد بن بكار البغدادي (ت352هـ)، والإمام أبو الحسن محمد بن عبد الله ابن محمد بن مرة النقش الطوسي ثم البغدادي (ت 352هـ)، والإمام أبو بكر أحمد بن الحسين بن مهران الأصبهاني (ت 381هـ)، والإمام الحافظ أبو العلاء الدين أبو موسى جعفر بن مكي بن جعفر الموصلي (ت713هـ)، والشيخ كمال الدين محمد بن الموقع أبي الوفاء أحمد الغزي الحلبي الشافعي القادري (ت973هـ)، والشيخ عماد الدين علي بن عماد الدين علي الاسترابادي المازندراني (كان حياً 99هـ) والشيخ محمد بن سلامة بن عبد الخالف بن حسن الجمل الرشيدي المصري الشافعي (ت بعد 1300هـ)، وغيرهم.
