فكرة هذا الكتاب بدأت كفضفضة في مدونة، حينما كانت الشكوى من حماتي ممنوعة بأمر صارم من زوجي فالحماة هي الأم الثانية التي يجب أن تحترم ويجب أن نتعامل معها على أنها ملاك بلا أخطاء، برغم أنها بشر قد تخطئ وقد تصيب.
وبرغم شكواى من سوء معاملة حماتي لي أنني حين أضع نفسي مكانها ألتمس لها العذر في بعض تصرفاتها، فهي التي حملت وربت وسهرت لتترك ابنها فلذة كبدها لأخرى لتحصد هي علي ثمار مجهودها مقابل قسيمة زواج، ولكنها سنة الحياة التي لا مفر منها... الأم تربي والزوجة منها تستلم الراية ولتتذكر كل حماة أنها بدأت زواجها كزوجة ابن وأنها أخذت زوجها أيضا من بين أحضان أمه.
في بداية كتابتي في مدونتي وجدت هجوماً من بعض القراء علي ما تحتويه من حكايات فقد أعتبرها البعض نميمة والبعض الآخر رأي أن كتاباتي تلمس شكوى زوجة من حماتها يجب أن تظل طي الكتمان ولا تخرج على الملأ.. فمجتمعنا مازال يري الرآة على أنها عورة يجب أن تكتم كلامها وضحكها وشكواها.. ولكني بجانب هذا النقد وجدت المساندة من زوجات عديدات يرون في قوة تحملي وصبري نهجاً وقد تعرفت عليهن بصورة شخصية عن طريق الإيميل بناءاً على رغبتهن في التقرب من أسطورتي في الصبر مع حماتي.. فمنهن من قالت بأن حماتها كانت بالنسبة لها طاقة شر حتى وجدت في حكاياتي مع حماتي ما يفوق شر حماتها ووجدت مني البساطة في التعامل معها بل وتحويل حنقي على حماتي إلى مجموعة قصصية ساخرة.. وهو ما ألهمها على تحمل حماتها بل شكر ربنا على أن حماتها بالفعل ملاك مقارنة بحماتي، فقد تكون قصصي عن حماتي ساعدت في إدخال السعادة والرضا على بعض البيوت، كما ساعدتني فضفضتي على تقبلي لحماتي بل وأعتبارها حورية أفكاري وملهمتي فزيارتها التي كانت ثقيلة على قلبي أصبحت جميلة فمن تلك الزيارة تخرج إبداعات وحواديت تفيد من يريد الإفادة وتضحك من يريد منها الضحك.
