أنا واحد .. والفراغ كثير ، وعيناي لا تأفان ترقب ما لا يجئ": تلك هى شفرة هذه الكتابة التى تقوم على مستويين أساسيين الشاعر بصوته المتسائل الحائر القلق والكون بوعوده الغامضة وآفاقه المغوية بما لا عين رات ولا أذن سمعت ، لكن ما الذي يخطر على قلب هذا البشر - الشاعر؟ هذا هو السؤال الذي تستمر الاجابة عليه طوال الديوان وهى اجابة تردد بين حسم الشاعر وتراجعاته ثم اندماجته الصوفية بالوجود ثم بوحه بالآم من يرتعدون أمام التجلي الأوضح والانصع والأعلى للسر هنا يكتسب الديوان جوهر الرؤيوي: حيث يكتشف الشاعر ونكتشف معه كم هى الحقيق صعبة ،إنها حتى هذه اللحظة - ليست نسبية ولم يستطيع احمد ان يؤكد انها أيضا مطلقة انها معلقة في فراغ السؤال، ومن ثم فليس امام الشاعر الا ان يتساءل - بحق ونحن معه : - "فهل تخرج الارض اثقالا من دمى / والمواقيت موغلة في التشهي / وليلى مستغرق في احتمالات من يصلون الرؤى بالرؤى" ؟ نعم : هذا هو القلق الانساني العظيم القليق الذي تقف وراءه كل الاندياحات الصوفية عبر التاريخ حيث يظل الروح البشر معلقا في فضاس حيرته الأزلية.. قصائد تمتلك اختلافها في الرؤية ومن ثم اختلافها في اللغة اللغة شديدة النفاذ لشفافيتها وقدتها على التعبير عن جوانيات النفس الانسانية في طموحها إلى ما هو أسمى ورغبتها الأكيدة في خلاص بني البشر.
