في هذا الكتاب نطرح التصور الحوثي للاستيلاء على العاصمة صنعاء وذلك بسبب رفض تنظيم ” أنصار الله ” لتقسيم اليمن إلى ستة أقاليم ورفض مسودة الدستور اليمنى الجديد المتوقع الاستفتاء عليه أواخر شهر ديسمبر 2014 , وادعائه بأن ذلك يخالف ما تم الاتفاق عليه في إطار اتفاقية الشراكة والسلم التي تم توقيعها مع الحكومة اليمنيةوالحوثيزن ينضون تحت تنظيم ” أنصار ” الله في اليمن باسم الحوثيون حيث لطلقت هذه التسمية عليهم تيمنًا بزعيمهم الروحي الراحل بدر الدين الحوثي ، وزعيمهم السياسي حسين بدر الدين الحوثي، ليخلفه الزعيم الحالي عبد الملك بدر الدين الحوثي , وفيما يتخذ الحوثيون حاليًا بشكل رسمي أسم ” أنصار الله “، فإن الكيان السياسي الذي أنشأه منذ زمن قصير كان حركة الشباب المؤمن 1992 . ومنذ أواسط التسعينات ارتبط اسم الحوثيين بحسين بدر الدين الحوثي، الذي انضم بعد الوحدة بين الشمال والجنوب إلى “حزب الحق” الزيدي وانتخب ورفيقه عبد الله الرزامي في البرلمان عام 199 وفيما كان التوجه داخل الحركة على النشاط التثقيفي، كان الحوثي مولعًا بالعمل الحركي، فأطلق شعاره الشهير” الله أكبر , الموت لأمريكا , الموت لإسرائيل، اللعنة على اليهود، النصر للإسلام “، وذلك كرمز سياسي، مستلهمًا سلسلة من التغيرات في المنطقة لاسيما انتصار المقاومة في جنوب لبنان , واندلاع الانتفاضة الثانية في فلسطين.وقد اغضب هذا الشعار الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، وتسبب بإحراج كبير للرئيس السابق على عبد الله صالح، وعلى خلفيته خاض الحوثيون .
