وعرَّج المؤلف على التربية الإسلامية وتعريفها ومصادرها وأهدافها وخصائصها بشكل عام، والتربية الفقهية وخصائصها، وبعد ذلك دخل إلى الفكر التربوي والإرشاد التربوي عند ابن سحنون، وبهذا سيتكلم المؤلف بالتفصيل عن هذا العالم والمفكر الإسلامي الذي وضع أسساً للمعلمين وآدابهم، وكذلك حقوق الطلبة وإرشادهم نحو الطريق الصحيح.
