يرى المؤلف أن اجراء التجارب العلمية على البشر لا يقل خطورة عن التجارب النووية. لذا يطالب بلجان قومية فى كل دولة للاشراف على هذه التجارب على أن تتوصل لميثاق دولى ملزم- كاتفاقية حظر الأسلحة النووية، يخلوها صلاحيات اتخاذ ما تراه من قرارات لموقف ما تراه خطرا على البشر من هذه التجاب. يثير الكتاب الكثير من القضيا الهامة كمحاولات العلم لاطالة الأعمال والأساليب الواجب اتباعها لتحقيق ذلك. كما ينقل عن العلماء نصائح ثمينة تتعلق بتجميد البويضات والمنويات فى الصغر لاستخدامها فى الانجاب مع تقدم العمر أو بيعها للمحرومين من الانجاب. كما يشير لامكان تجميد خلايا المناعة (T) القاتلة للبكتريا والفيروسات لاستتعادتها عند اللزوم مع تقدم العمر- ومن يدرى فقد تصلح علاجا للايدز وغير هذا من القضايا الهامة مثل رأى العلم والقضاء فى تعريف الموت ورأى مدراس الفكر فى مدى أصالة الشر والخير فى النفس البشرية.
