إن معرفة "الفتن" ومواطن ظهورها، وأسباب انتشارها، والأضرار المترتبة على من سار فى ركابها، ودار فى فلكها، من أوجب ما يتوجب على المسلم - خصوصاً فى هذا العصر - الذى ذر فيه قرن الفتنة، وذلك انطلاقاً من القاعدة الأصولية التى تقول: "ما لا يتم الواجب إلا به فهو واجب".
وقد قال حذيفة بن اليمان رضى الله عنه فيما مضى: "هذه فتن قد أظلت كحباه البقر، يهلك فيها أكثر الناس إلا من كان يعرفها قبل ذلك".
وهذا الكتاب، والموسوم بــ "فتن آخر الزمان"، قد حاولت فيه قدر الجهد، بيان حقائق غاب أكثرها عن أكثر الناس، وحذرت فيه من مغبة الدوران فى فلك "الفتن"، ثم بينت طرق النجاة منها، سائلاً المولى جلت قدرته، أن يكتب له القبول، وأن يجعله لى قربة إليه، أنال به رحمته كما قال تباركت أسماؤه: (ألا إنها قربة لهم سيدخلهم الله فى رحمته، إن الله غفور رحيم).
