ولد الروائى فؤاد قنديل قي 5 أكتوبر 1944 قي مصر الجديدة بالقاهرة لاسرة تنتمى إلى مدينة بنها ـ محافظة القليوبية حاصل على ليسانس الاداب قسم الفلسفة وعلم النفس من جامعة القاهرة وعمل منذ عام 1962 قي شركة مصر للتمثيل والسينما.

Book Description
هذا الكتاب يتضمن ست روايات قصيرة وهى "أشجان" وتتناول حياة أسرة تعيش بالسويس، وماجرى لها قبل وبعد اجتياح إسرائيل لسيناء عام 1967م. وكذلك روايتى "السقف، والناب الأزرق "، ويدورا فى إطار فانتازى، ذات المسحة الرمزية، ولم يكن للكاتب من دور إلا التفكير الطويل فى الطبيعة الاستبدادية للحكام فى العالم الثالث، أما رواية "العشق الأخرس" تدور حول الآثار السلبية للخداع والتملق على السياسة والحب والتجارة. وكذلك روايات "شفيقة وسرها الباتع، وموسم العنف الجميل " التى تحكى جانبًا رائعًا من أدائهم العظيم.
