محطات متعددة يقف عندها القزويني في هذا الكتاب يسجل فيها خلاصة تجربته ورؤاه وتصوره لمجتمع إسلامي يعيش في الغرب كاشفاً أساليب تربوية وتوجيهية يمكن لها أن تساعد الأسرة المسلمة في تربية النشء الجديد ومعالجة مشكلاته ولا سيما الأطفال والمراهقين وصولاً إلى مسائل الزواج والدراسة والتعليم من اجل حماية القيم والمبادئ الإسلامية السامية، والتي على أفراد الجاليات الإسلامية برأي الكاتب أن يساهمو بفاعلية في تحقيقها مثل العدالة الإجتماعية والمساواة وإحقاق الحق ونبذ التعصب والطبقية والتمييز العنصري عن مجتمعاتهم وأوطانهم الجديدة. وأن يكونوا مستوى التحديثات التي تواجههم، أما الهدف الأسمى للكاتب فهو ترسيخ الهوية الإسلامية في نفوس المسلمين المغتربين عامة.
