لا يستطيع أي قارئ أن يقرأ هذا الكتاب دون أن يتعلم منه شيئاً جديداً حول طبيعة تدريس مهارات التفكير وحول الطرائق المؤثرة في تدريسها، إن الفصل المتعلق بذكريات وتأملات بعض المدرسين هذه العملية وما واجهوه من منغصات نابعة من تفتيشهم عما هو جديد، هذا الفصل يؤكد للقارئ بأن تدريس التفكير هو من المواضيع المهمة التي يمكن القيام بها.
