أحمد بن علي آل مريع أديب وكاتب سعودي، ولد في رجال ألمع في منطقة عسير عام 1970م. يشغل منصب رئيس نادي أبها الأدبي من أكتوبر عام عام 2011م، وصدر له العديد من المؤلفات من بينها كتاب (قراءة في فلسفة الحب عند الشيخ علي الطنطاوي)، وكتاب (خطاب الجنون في التراث العربي: الحضور الفيزيائي والغياب الثقافي).

يأتي هذا الكتاب (موسوعة نادي أبها الأدبي (5)) - حديث الصحافة - موسوعة صحافية بأبرز أخبار الأنشطة في نادي أبها الأدبي ضمن العمل الموسوعي الكبير الذي كلف به فريق الموسوعة بالنادي، لرصد نشاطات وإصدارات، وحضور النادي في المشهد الثقافي والأدبي في منطقة عصير بخاصة والمملكة العربية السعودية بعامة.
ولا شك بأن العمل الموسوعي تتجاوز قيمته الحصر والإحصاء إلى غاية أهم، وهي: حفظ الآثار والأعمال، والتأريخ للحركة الفكرية بمعناها الواسع، وإتاحة الفرصة للقارئ والمتابع في كل مكان ليمارسا حقيهما في القراءة أو تتبع أخبار النادي.
وهذا الكتاب الذي نقدمه اليوم يصدر في قسمين كبيرين مخصصين لأخبار أنشطة النادي وفعالياته الثقافية في مركز النادي الرئيس في أبها، وسيتبعهما - بمشيئة الله قريباً - القسم الثالث من حديث الصحافة، والذي يشتمل على أبرز أخبار نشاطات لجان النادي الثقافية السبع في محافظات منطقة عسير، التي أنشأها نادي أبها الأدبي وجعلها إمتداداً لعمله المؤسسي، وسبباً لتحقيق رسالته.
وبصدور هذه الموسوعة يكون النادي قد جمع وأرشف وصنف عدداً من الموسوعات التي توثق للعمل الثقافي في النادي، وهي: 1-موسوعة إصدارات النادي: الجزء الأول (الكتب) وهو في قسمين، 2-موسوعة إصدارات النادي الجزء الثاني (مجلة بيادر) وهو في قسم واحد، 3-اللجان الثقافية في منطقة عسير: مسيرة لجان نادي أبها الأدبي الثقافية في المحافظات من 1433هـ - إلى 1438هـ (توثيق ورصد)، 4-الذاكرة الفوتوغرافية لنادي أبها الأدبي خلال أربعين عاماً (1398هـ - 1438هـ)، 5-حديث الصحافة: موسوعة صحافية بأبرز أخبار الأنشطة في نادي أبها الأدبي، وهو في قسمين، 6-حديث الصحافة: موسوعة صحافية بأبرز أخبار الأنشطة في لجان النادي الثقافية في محافظات منطقة عسير، وهو في قسم واحد.
ونحب أن نؤكد أن هذا الكتاب في قسميه: الأول والثاني، لا يحتوي على كل منجزات وأعمال إدارة النادي، ولا منجزات وأعمال لجانه الثقافية، وإنما يُعنى في هذين القسمين بأبرز الأنشطة الأدبية والثقافية في مركزه الرئيس فحسب.
