يضم هذا الكتاب المعنون بـ "ممارسات في النقد والأدب" مجموعة من الدراسات، والقراءات، التي تتصل بالنقد المعاصر (العربي، والغربي)، تطرقت فيه إلى قضايا نقدية، وأدبية إشكالية، ومتنوعة، ما تزال تثير الكثير من الجدل على مستوى الساحة النقدية، والأدبية، سواء في الوطن العربي، أو في عدد غير قليل من حلقات البحث في العالم الغربي.
لقد عالجت هذه القضايا النقدية الإشكالية في فترات مختلفة، حيث كتبت هذه الأبحاث، لأسباب متنوعة، منها محاضرات ألقيتها على الطلاب في عدد من الجامعات الجزائرية، ومنها دراسات نُشرت في بعض المجلات العربية العالمية المحكمة، وأثارت نقاشاً ثرياً بين مجموعة من الأساتيذ المتخصصين في ميدان النقد، ومنها أبحاث شاركت بها في ملتقيات علمية وطنية، ودولية، وأغلب الدراسات التي تُنشر في الكتاب، لم يُسبق نشرها، وقد آثرت تقديمها إلى القارئ في هذا الكتاب، وأرجو أن يجد الطلبة، والباحثون في هذه الأبحاث بعض الفائدة.
إن هذا الكتاب يأتي مساهمة متواضعة لإثارة إنتباه الطلاب، والأساتذة، وعامة القراء، إلى قضايا تستحق الدراسة، والبحث، وقد كان وراء الخوض في مناقشة هذه القضايا النقدية التي ظهرت على مستوى الساحة العلمية، وبُرمجت في أقسام الأدب العربي في أغلب الجامعات العربية، غيرتنا على الأدب العربي، ورغبتنا الجامحة في لفت الإنتباه إلى إشكاليات علمية دقيقة، كثيراً ما صرح الطلبة بأنها غامضة، ومبهمة، وغير مفهومة.
