الإسلام دين الله تبارك وتعالى إلى الناس كافة وهو الرسالة السماوية الخاتمة للرسالات السابقة، لذلك فشرائع الإسلام بينت المنهج للبشرية والإنسانية كلها الذى تتبعه ولا إكراه في الدين فمن شاء فليؤمن ومن شاء فليكفر. وهذا الكتاب يروى تفاصيل فتح مصر، حيث كانت تحت الاستعمار الروماني تلاقى أشد أصناف العذاب والاضطهاد الديني والعنصري، فجاء الإسلام بسماحته منقذا لشعب مصر الذى اعتنق الإسلام طوعية مؤمنا بتعاليمة السمحة. فلقد كانت اول دعوة للإسلام لمصر هي رسالة الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى المقوقش عظيم القبط ، والرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم أوصى اصحابه بأن : إذا فتحتم مصر فاتخذوا منها جندا كقيقا فهم خير أجناد الأرض. وقد ساند الأقباط المسلمين أثناء الفتح الإسلامي لمصر ضد الرومان. والكتاب يروي العديد من المواقف التاريخية التى تؤكد أن شعب مصر مسلمين وأقباط دائما وأبدا يدا واحدة خاصة في مواجهة العناصر الأجنبية التى تبث الفتنة والفرقة في مصر.
