أدليت بدلوي في كتاب فتح الباري بشرح صحيح البخاري للإمامين البخاري وابن حجر رحمهما الله تعالى، وأخرجت لك كتاب الرقاق من الجزء (11/259- 528)، والإحاديث من صحيح البخاري برقم (6412- 6593)، وهى رقائق ، جمع رقيقة وسميت هذه الأحاديث بذلك لأن في كل منها ما يحدث في القلب رقة. قال أهل اللغة: الرقة الرحمة وضد الغلظ ، ويقال للكثير الحياء رق وجه استحياء . وقال الراغب: متى كانت الرقة في جسم فضدها الصفاقة كثوب رقيق وثوب صفيق ، ومتى كانت في نفس فضدها القسوة كرقيق القلب وقاسي القلب. وقال الجوهري : وترقيق الكلام تحسينه.
