يحاول هذا الكتاب الاجابة عن السؤال كيف ولماذا وصل ترامب لأهم منصب سياسي في عالم اليوم؟ ويحاول الكتاب كذلك فك شفرة الرئيس ترامب من خلال تحليل سياساته ومواقفه التي يجمع بينها التناسق قليلاً والتناقض كثيراً.
ويبقى التساؤل قائماً حول إذا كان ما يقوم به ترامب يُبشّر بطريقة جديدة تبقى بعد رحيله ويقتدي بها الرؤساء القادمون، أم إنها تمثل خروجاً مؤقتاً عن المألوف ينتهي بخروجه من البيت الأبيض وبعدها تعود التقاليد الراسخة للسياسة الأمريكية كما عرفها العالم والأمريكيون.
