واقعة الألقاب قديمة في أصل وجودها، واتساع دائرة التلقيب، وحديثة بحدوث بعض الألقاب وتجددها، وذلك بانتقال الغربي منها إلى الصعيد الشرقي، لكثافة عوامل الاتصال بين المشارق والمغارب، وسرعة تأثر بني جلدتنا بكل وافد غربي، حتى في ألفاظ مولدة تلوكها ألسنة الوافدين منهم، فيقذفون بها آذان المجتمع، فما تلبث تلكم الألفاظ المؤذية لأهل اللسان العربي جملة وتفصيلاً، والمرفوضة من حيث المبدأ لدى حملة الشريعة المطهرة إلا وقد أصبحت سمة من السمات في درج الكلام شفاهاً أو تحريراً، فازدادت المحنة في هجنة اللسان العربي، وطغت مولدات التغريب على لغة القرآن فعظم العدوان على بنت عدنان، وندر الآخذون بالتأر الموقظون لأمتهم من تغريب اللسان، فاشتدت الأزمة وأصبح سراج الأمل يضيء إضاءة خافته تناكدها رياح الخوف واليأس، لتضافر عوامل التغريب في سائر مقومات الأمة الإسلامية، في بنيتها وأخلاقها، وخططها الإنمائية.
وعلى مسارب تلكم التبعيات لفتنة التغريب الهادرة، نفذ إلى الأمة في شكلها وجوهرها ضروب من التفاعل والصراع والتفكك والانحلال، حتى أطلق على رقعة البلدان العربية "قوس الأزمات" وبه أصبح معظم العرب المسلمين أصلاً وداراً ولساناً يفتكون بأنفسهم حتى صار غالبهم جسداً بلا روح، وهم مع ذلك مبتلون بأعظم بلية، وهي موت قلوبهم ولكن لا يشعرون.
وفي هذه الورقات لا ألج في تجسيد هذه المعضلات، ولكن من خلال ما صدرت به هذه المقالة أبدي نظرة ولكنها متأنية في عامل تغريب اللسان، محاولاً أن أصل بها تلك الرحم رحم لغة القرآن الكريم، بعد أن قطعتها يد التغريب.
