This study discusses the Zionist strategy and activity in the United States during the decisive five years preceeding the United Nations resolutions calling for the partition of Palestine in 1947. It traces the development of the Zionist strategy and sets forth the immediate links between the Zionist activity and development of the American diplomacy. The study unfolds the plan by which the Zionists succeeded in building up a strong interest group which could utilize the American political system so as to have its program adopted as American foreign policy.
