يتضمن هذا الكتاب أربعة عشر فصلاً, حيث نجد أن الفصل الأول التدريب وضع خصيصاً من أجلك. بينما الفصل الثاني تضمن العديد من الموضوعات تحت عنوان فلسفات التدريب الرياضي من أفضل لأفضل. بينما الفصل الثالث كان بعنوان قبل أن تعلم المهارة أو التدريب وتضمن العديد من المعلومات مثل تحديد العمومية الخاصة بالمقابلة, التحول, والتدريب ضد جميع أو كل أجزاء.
والفصل الرابع والخامس والسادس والسابع, تناولوا الترتيب المنطقي لتداول الكرة في الملعب, بدءاً من الإرسال ثم الاستقبال والإعداد على التوالي. ثم انفرد الفصل الثامن بوضع الخطوط الإرشادية للإعداد وتدريباته الذي تضمن كيفية اختيار المعد- أنماط الإعداد- هجمات المعد, المسئوليات الخاصة بالمعدين- المعد واستلام الإرسال, وفلسفة تكتيكات إعداد التدريبات إلى الإعداد.
ثم تناولنا في الفصل التاسع والعاشر الضرب والصد. وفي الفصل الحادي عشر تناولنا الاستراتيجيات والخطوط الإرشادية للهجوم بشيء من التفصيل ثم الفصل الثاني عشر الاستراتيجيات الخاصة بالدفاع ودلائله في فصل ضم العديد من المعارف والمعلومات حول هذه الاستراتيجيات.
وامتداداً لاستراتيجية الدفاع تناولنا في الفصل الثالث عشر الدفاع الفردي الذي ضمن بعض المهارات الشائعة وغير الشائعة. وفي الفصل الرابع عشر أنهينا مؤلفنا ببعض المرفقات التي تسهم في تنظيم عمل المدرب أو المدرس.
