أنه من المعروف أن القصة القصيرة المكتمله البناء أصعب فى بناءها من الرواية الطويلة وذلك لقصر المساحة وتقنين المعنى ليصبح كاملا متكاملا فى عدة صفحات معدودة وقد استطاع المؤلف فى هذه المجموعة القصصية أن يصل بنا الى بناء كامل لقصصه وقد حرص على أن تحمل نهايات قصصه مضامين انسانية تختلف تماما عن فكرة المفاجاة التى كانت لازمة أساسية فى القص التقليدى عند العديد من القاصين المشهورين ولكن البناء الصغيرة حين يكون متقنا يتحدث عنه ايضا ما فيه من دقه وارهاف وتناسب واحكام غير او هذه الصفات نفسها هى التى تجعل اتفائه شديد المجاورة للوقوع فى الخطأ او التنافر وتحكم عليه لا له ومن ثم لجأ النقاد الى القول أن نجاح القصة القصيرة انما يتجلى فى وحدة التأثير ففى القصة القصيرة كما فى الرواية يجمع الموضوع والحبكة والحدث والاشخاص والجو والقيمة وغير ذلك من العوامل لتعمل معا متضافره متأزره .
