هى رواية قصيرة تتناول بوجه التحديد تاريخ البغاء فى مصر فى القرن الثامن عشر الميلادى منذ فترة حكم الوالى محمد على باشا الكبير وقبلها وبعدها بقليل ونرى فيها قصه سعدية وشقيقها عبد الحكم وكيف ان كل منهما اهتم بشئ مختلف عن الاخر وكيف أرادت سعدية ان تمتهن هذه المهنه الحقيره وأن تصبح بغيه هى أرادت ذلك بنفسها ولم يجبرها احدا ما عبد الحكيم فقد اراد أن يصبح مدربا للكلاب واحب كل الكلاب فى القرية وهى احبته وكانت رفيقته فى كل مكان وبعد وفاة زوج سعدية وذهابها للعمل فى القاهرة بغيه طلب والدها من أخيها أن يذهب ويحضرها من شعرها أو أن يقتلها وذهب أخوها وكانت مريضه بداء جنسى معروف وقد أل حلها الى الحضيض .. هل سيقتلها أخوها أم سيسحبها من شعرها الى ابيها أم سيعود من دونها .. بالرغم من هذه الرواية التى تعتمد على الجنس كشكل عام الا اننا سنشعر بالشفقه على سعدية وشقيقها التافه الحالم ال حالهما الى ذلك بسبب واحد فقط الجهل .
