ومع تخصصي في العلوم الإنسانية – خاصة علم النفس،ومع ولعي الشديد وإعجابي بالإبداعات الشعبية أحاول فى هذا الكتاب الذى هو ضمن سلسلة التراث الشعبي المصري أن أجعل (النص) ينطق و تقديم قراءة للقيم التي تحاول الأغانى نشرها وتأكيدها في الفضاء والوجدان الشعبي.
