جزءٌ لطيفٌ في ضبط لفظ "الملّا"، وتحريرالكلام فيه، وأنه بفتح الميم منه أو بضمها، وفوائد تتعلق بذلك. وقد نهضت لجمعه لشيوعه في أسماء عدد من العلماء كالملا علي القاري وغيره، مع اضطراب الكلام في معناه وأصله وضبطه، وهل هو لفظ عربي أو ليس بعربي، حتى عند الكاتبين في المعاجم والمحررين لدوائر المعارف. والتآليف في هذا الباب قديما وحديثا لا تنحصر، فقد أفرد الكثير من الأئمة أجزاء لطيفة لضبط لفظ من الألفاظ، وتحقيق القول فيه، فتحركت الهمة إلى الجري على منوالهم في تخصيص هذا الجزء اللطيف، لضبط لفظ الملا وتبيين معناه.
