قبل كل شيء يهمني هنا والآن أن أنبه إلى خطورة وأهمية هذه الدراسة، فحين نتساءل عن معنى الحكمة فلن تجد الإجابات تختلف لدى أغلب الدارسين للعلوم الشرعية والإسلامية والمهتمين بالتفاسير القرآنية، فإنها لا تكاد تخرج عن: الفهم في الدين وما يكون الهدى مما لم ينص َّعليه الكتاب أو هي: السنة النبوية، أو كما يرى ابن عطية في المحرر الوجيز هي: ""سنة الله تعالى على لسان نبيه دون أن يكون قرآناً متلواً، ويحتمل أن يكون وصفاً للآيات.
ولم توجه جهود العلماء لفهم الحكمة وعلاقتها بالنبوة، ولم تهتم بفهم السياق الحضاري للحكمة ولا حتى للنبوة ذاتها، ونحن اليوم نعيش عصر العلم المتسارع والمتلاحق، ونود تقديم الدين الإسلامي لأنفسنا أولاً ولغيرنا ثانياً في ثوب قشيب يليق بكمال وجلال وجمال هذا الدين الذي ارتضاه الله لعباده حيث قال:"" إِنَّ الدِّينَ عِندَ اللَّهِ الْإِسْلَامُ "(آل عمران:19)
