كلمات مليئة بالشر والموت، عبرها صرح الرجل الغامض عن نفسه التائقة إلى قتل الأشرار من رجال الحصن، ولكن لماذا هذه التوعد؟ وما السبب الدافع إليه؟ ومن هو الرجل الغامض الذي أرسل أول سهم أسود ليبدأ بتحقيق انتقامه؟ الإجابات على هذه الأسئلة هي ما سيقرأه القارئ الناشئ في هذه القصة من الأدب العالمي، والتي هي من تأليف الشاعر والروائي الأميركي "روبرت لويس ستفينسن" هذا الروائي الذي ادهش العالم يكتبه التاريخية القيمة التي أظهرت من خلالها بسالة القادة الفرسان وشجاعتهم.
