في هذا الكتاب من سلسلة رجال أسلموا حديث مع يوسف إسلام والذي كان قيل إسلامه معروفاً بـ"كات ستيفنس" المعني والموسيقار البريطاني المشهور، وفيه يتحدث عن إسلامه وعن الصعوبة التي وجدها في الإقلاع عن كثير من الأشياء التي كان يمارسها سابقاً.
ولما قرأت القرآن الكريم أصبحت أشعر وكأن القرآن يخاطبني. وبقيت أقرأ القرآن لمدة تزيد عن السنة والنصف، ولم ألتق أثناء تلك المدة بأي مسلم. وكنت أعرف في قرارة تفسي أنه يتعين علي إما أن أسلم نفسي كلياً، أو أواصل طريقي الخاص في الاشنغال بالموسيقى. كان ذلك أصعب مرحلة مررت بها في حياتي.
