هذا الكتاب هو عبارة عن أطروحة علمية راقية، نال فيها القُسُّ ستيفن سايزر الدكتوراه، وفيها تحليل شامل لتاريخ ونمو حركة المسيحيين الصهاينة بأشكالها المتعددة، وتأكيداتها اللاهوتية وتورطاتها السياسية.
وفي مَسحهِ المعرفي، وتقييمه النقدي الرافض للقومية الصهيونية ولمعاداة السامية على السواء، وجد أن: "التقديرات المحافظة تشير إلى أن حركة المسيحيين الصهاينة هي على الأقل أكبر بعشرة أضعاف من الحركة اليهودية الصهيونية وأنها أصبحت (اللوبي) المسيطرَ في السياسات الأميركية المعاصرة.
كذلك وصل إلى قناعة إنه: لولا مبادرةُ وإلتزام المسيحيين الإنجيليين البريطانيين: من رجال دين وسياسيين ورجال دولة خلال القرن التاسع عشر - الميلادي - ربما ما كان ممكناً تحقيقُ الحُلُم اليهودي الصهيوني بوطن قومي في فلسطين، وبدون الدعم المستمر من المسيحيين الصهاينة في أميركا والتمويل الحكومي الهام، من المشكوك فيه إستطاعة دولة إسرائيل البقاء منذ العام 1948، ولا إستمرار إحتلالها للضفة الغربية - وغزَّة - منذ العام 1967.
ولقد لخّصت الكاتبة المعروفة، والراهبة السابقة، كارن امسترونغ حقيقة المسيحية الغربية الصهيونية بجملة واحدة، وبأصدق تعبير، حين قالت فيها: داخل المسيحية الغربية الصهيونية ميراث الصليبيين وهؤلاء عادوا إلى صليبية كلاسيكية دينية متطرفة.
وعليه، يكشف كتاب الدكتور ستيفن سايزر الغطاء علميّاً وموضوعياً عن ماضي الصهاينة الخطير وعن حاضرهم الأخطر.
