إيهاب البدوي صحفي من مواليد الدقهلية عام 1969، بدأ حياته المهنية من مؤسسة أخبار اليوم حتى أصبح سكرتيرا لتحرير جريدة "المصري اليوم" ثم مساعدا لرئيس تحرير "صوت الأمة" حتى أصبح رئيسا لتحرير جريدة "الغد" قبل ثورة 25 يناير، عمل في صحف ومجلات عربية، وينشر مقالاته فى عدة صحف ومجلات ومواقع إخبارية، صدر له قبل هذا الكتاب خمسة كتب آخرها "رحلة سقوط العائلة: من قصر العروبة إلى سجن طره" عام 2012.

هذا الكتاب مجموعة من القصص الحقيقية التى حضرت اغلبها بحكم عملى الصحفى فى بداية عملى كمحرر للحوادث فى عام 1990 انها حكايات حقيقة من لحم ودم .. تحكى عن الناس والمشاعر .. عن البشر والاحاسيس .. تحكى ايضا عن الاحلام والنزات. كنت فقط مجرد ناقل أمين لهذه الخطابات التى حفلت بها دفاتر النياية كان القاسم المشترك الاعظم فى الحكايات هو البطلان كلهن من النساء أو هى مفارقة لم اكتشفها الا عندما بدأت الكتابة بالفعل ووجدت الشخوص تطل بأ بين ثنايا الاوراق .. انها حكايات انسانية خالصة انفعلت بها ومعها فخرجت فى هذا الشكل الذى بين يديكم الان. وبالرغم من انها بدايا كتاباتى الصحفية الا ان حظها فى النشر وفى الخروج الى النور من خلال كتاب كان ترتيبها الرابع بين كتبى التى تدور حول الشئون السياسية وانا اعشق هذا الكتاب الذى يحمل بكارة الأفكار وظزاجتها ودهشتها الأولى.
