أبا بسمع.. خليهو يسمع
إيا تسمع.. خليها تسمع
الشمس مؤقت.. خليها تمرق
هذه هي المقاطع التي تعود أن يرددها شباب وشابات قرية (هشابة) في لياليهم القمرية وهو يتراصون في ساحة الرقص في الطرف الشمالي للقرية، حيث يشكل الشباب صفاً موازياً للشابات ويبدأون بالرقص قفزاً عالياً مصاحباً بتصفيق متناغم مع الايقاع الذي يحدث ضرب الأرجل على الأرض، ومن ثم معاودة القفز عمودياً. كل يحرص على محاذاة شخص من الطرف الآخر في حركة إلى الأمام، إلى أن يلتقي كل شخصين في منتصف المسافة التي تفصل بين الجنسين لتنتهي بشبال، من ثم يعود كلاهما بذات الإيقاع مجدداً إلى نقطة البداية في الصف. الشابات اللاتي ربطن ثيابهن في منتص أجسادهن ليتمكن من القفز كان الترتيب يحتم عليهن البدء بالغناء حيث يفرض الايقاع عليهن ترديد المقطع الأول (أبا بسمع) على أن يجيب الشباب بترديد عجز المقطع (خليهو يسمع) وهكذا....
