إن "نهايات الليل" نص روائي نصيص عن الليل، تكتب مغامراته مجموعة من الشخصيات الإستثنائية، التي بقدر ما هي مسكونة بالخشونة والغلظة والفظاظة والعنف، بقدر ما تبقى أسيرة لمشاعر رقة وتحنن آسرة، تنتهي بجعل القارئ يتعاطف معها حتى في أشد حالات القسوة، التي تصدر عنها.
